We are a highly competitive team comprised of young ladies whose main goal for the 2009 season is to compete for the USSSA “13u” World Series. Our coaches, players, and most importantly our parents share a commitment to excellence. We couldn’t accomplish all that we have the past few years without the hard work of all our players and the exceptional support from a great group of parents.
Our system teaches each athlete how to deal with success and failure, and how to reach both long and short term goals. We believe and teach the girls that hard work, sportsmanship, and team play are the keys to being successful both in softball and in life. The Sharks program is designed to build top-notch players who are motivated to taking their game to a higher level.

This team is made up of kids from across North Alabama and South Tennessee that share a common goal of wanting to play competive fastpitch softball while not having to abandon other dreams. The core of this group of young ladies has played together since the year 2000. The goal of the Sharks is to provide an opportunity for the multi-sport athlete to play tournament level fastpitch softball. The coaches believe that kids can excel at more than one sport.
Our coaches strive to teach the fundamentals and strategies of fastpitch softball while instilling confidence in the players. We pride ourselves in making the game fun for the kids while challenging them to become their best.

Our players selected for the team have a true love for the game, a TEAM oriented spirit, and accept the commitment to support the goals of the organization and demonstrate the desire and dedication to reach their potential. While athletic ability is necessary and important, personal character and commitment are equally important. This program is an opportunity for those select players who “are ready for the responsibility and welcome the challenge”. Players are selected by personal recommendations and observation by the coaching staff.

The Sharks are the oldest travel softball organization in North Alabama. Over 55 college scholarships have been offered to Sharks players!
The goal of the 18U Huntsville Sharks is to provide a competitive, wholesome, friendly and instructional fastpitch softball experience through hard practice, tough training and successful tournament play. We will expose our players to the fundamentals of fastpitch softball and strategy, teach teamwork and good sportsmanship and present to our players the life skills and values needed to succeed in life both on and off the field. We are made up of players from all over North Alabama and Southern Tennessee.
Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishment toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.
